LA SIGUANABA
Also called, The "Sihuanaba" is a
character from Salvadoran mythology.
Originally called Sihuehuet (beautiful woman), had
an affair with the son of the god Tlaloc, of which she became pregnant. She was
a bad mother, leaving only his son to meet his lover. When Tlaloc found out
what was happening he cursed Sihuehuet llamamándola Sihuanaba (Horrible Woman)
.She would be beautiful at first sight, but when men approach him, she would
turn and become a horrible abomination. The God condemned to wander the
countryside, appearing to men traveling alone at night. They say he is seen at
night in rivers of El Salvador, washing clothes and always looks for his son
Cipitio, which was granted eternal youth by the god Tlaloc as suffering
According to legend, all the revelers are likely to
find it. However, seeks more earnestly to love men, the Don Juans who boast of
their sexual conquests. To these, the Siguanaba are listed on any water tank in
the wee hours of the night. The crate look with gold bathing and combing with a

Traditions state that the man who goes crazy

precautions otherwise not you wonder if someday tell you that ye were played by
"Siguanaba".
