Salvadorean Snacks
Savoury or sweet, Salvadorans enjoy a variety of snacks that
are made in our houses and fairs.
The typical Salvadoran food is a delicious blend of Indian
food with the Spanish. The traditional cuisine of our country boasts to be very
elaborate and tasty by the number of species added.
We have a very diverse list of snacks that are sold like hot
cakes in the festivities and these snacks taste great, but also by its easy
preparation, can be made at home.
The fried yucca or salcochada is delightful

Its filling carries a mixture of meat, eggs and other
ingredients exquisitely seasoned.

They eat well fried and
hot, accompanied with tortillas and pickled onions.
